School’s almost out. The weather’s turned warmer. There’s no question that summer’s on its way… and here in Fort Mill, we’re pretty excited about it.
It’s not just the grilling out, the long days at the pool, and the Fourth of July celebrations we’re looking forward to. We’re also excited to spend some time in town, especially here on historic Main Street and throughout the downtown Fort Mill area.
There are so many local shops, restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops where we plan on spending quality time this summer, treating ourselves to some of the finest wares Fort Mill has to offer. We hope to see some of you along the way! In the meantime, here are three Fort Mill businesses you definitely need to check out this summer.
Fort Mill Businesses to Visit This Summer
- Amor Artis. When the summer heat starts getting you down, why not duck into Amor Artis and ask them to pour you a cold one? This family-owned, community-based brewery is one of the top stops in all of Fort Mill for craft beer… and summer’s the ideal time to cool off with one of these delicious brews.
- The Improper Pig. Summer and barbecue just go hand in hand, right? And if you’ve got the hankering for authentic Carolina-style barbecue, you’ll find none better than at The Improper Pig.
- Southern Sugar. Summer treats abound at Southern Sugar. Whether you’re looking for a baked good, a shot of espresso, or a glass of wine, you’ll find something to whet your whistle here.
Come to think of it, there’s no reason why you couldn’t make an evening out of these three Fort Mill powerhouses—starting with a drink, chowing down on some ‘cue, then topping off the evening with a cookie and a coffee!
Certainly, we’re proud of these great businesses and everything they bring to the Fort Mill community—and we hope you’ll show them some support this summer!
